This morning (October 8, 2026), in Quảng Ngãi, the Trà Khúc 1 Bridge Project with a total investment of VND 2,199 billion officially broke ground. This is a special-grade transport infrastructure project, opening a new urban landscape for the provincial center and decisively resolving traffic congestion after 60 years of operation of the old bridge.The consortium of contractors comprising Khang Nguyên Infrastructure Construction Investment JSC – Trungnam Construction and Machinery JSC (Trungnam E&C) – Thành Phát Construction Co., Ltd. – Nam Anh Construction Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. has officially undertaken the construction of Package No. 24 – the primary construction package of the entire project. A Special-Grade Structure and New Architectural Landmark in Quang Ngai The project has a total route length of approximately 830 m, with the main bridge section spanning over 577 m and a deck width of 28 m, accommodating 4 motor vehicle lanes alongside landscape and pedestrian walkways. The most distinctive architectural highlight of the Trà Khúc 1 Bridge is its architectural concept named “Imprint of the Trà River”, which won first prize in the national architectural design competition. The bridge is designed as a 4-span continuous self-anchored suspension bridge, utilizing a steel-concrete composite superstructure with prestressed reinforced concrete. Its signature visual identity consists of a pylon system featuring 3 continuous undulating steel rings, stylized from the image of the traditional water-wheel, a cultural symbol deeply rooted in the memories of the people of Quang Ngai. Beyond its role as a vital traffic artery connecting the North and South banks of the Trà River, the bridge integrates viewing platforms at the base of the pylons and an artistic lighting system, promising to become a new cultural and tourism destination for Quang Ngai urban area. On January 28, 2026, the People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa Province issued Decision No. 339/QD-UBND approving the selection results for the investor of the Ca Na LNG Power Plant Project. Accordingly, the Trung Nam – Sideros River Joint Venture has officially become the investor of this key energy project, with a total investment capital exceeding 57,000 billion VND. A New Landmark on the National Energy Map According to the approval Decision, the Ca Na LNG Power Plant Project is located in Ca Na Commune, with the objective of developing one of the most modern energy complexes in the South Central Region. The project covers a total land and water surface area of approximately 265.7 hectares, comprising the following primary components: Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) Power Plant: Capacity of 1,500 MW. LNG Terminal and Regasification System: Throughput capacity of 1.0 – 1.2 million tonnes/year, equipped with a storage tank capacity of 220,000 m³. Seaport Infrastructure System: Includes a 2,400m-long breakwater and a dedicated LNG receiving jetty. With a total execution cost reaching 57,384.78 billion VND, this is one of the largest energy infrastructure projects approved for investment during the 2025–2030 period. As a leading renewable energy and infrastructure corporation in Vietnam, Trungnam Group (through the joint venture) commits to concentrating maximum financial resources, equipment, and workforce to execute the project. According to the awarded decision, the proposed electricity tariff is 3,294.22 VND/kWh. The investor commits to completing construction and commissioning the project for commercial operation (COD) prior to December 31, 2030. On the morning of December 19, 2025, the groundbreaking ceremony for the project “Upgrading and widening Hoi Bai – Phuoc Tan Road (DT992)” took place. With a total investment of VND 3,690 billion, this is a strategic project that directly connects National Highway 51 with the Bien Hoa – Vung Tau Expressway. A crucial link in the Hoi Bai – Phuoc Tan project The project starts at the intersection with National Highway 51 (Tan Hai Ward) and ends at the connection point with the Bien Hoa – Vung Tau Expressway. This route is considered an arterial road, linking to the Eastern North–South Expressway, Ho Chi Minh City’s Ring Road 4, Long Thanh International Airport, and key economic centers and seaports, while playing a key role in collecting and relieving the immense cargo volume from the Cai Mep – Thi Vai port complex to the Bien Hoa – Vung Tau Expressway and vice versa. On the morning of November 18, 2025, Trungnam E&C and the joint contractors officially commenced the Rach Xuyen Tam project, located in the Binh Thanh – Go Vap area. The project will officially revive the canal, bringing a new green, clean, and beautiful appearance to Ho Chi Minh City. Overview of Rach Xuyen Tam Project Rach Xuyen Tam has a total length of 8.875 km, including a 6.638 km main route and three branch routes—Cau Son, Binh Loi, and Binh Trieu—with a combined length of 2.237 km. This canal plays a vital role in the city’s drainage system and environmental regulation. For many years, Rach Xuyen Tam has been one of the most severely polluted areas. The commencement of this project marks an important step in efforts to dredge the canal, improve the environment, and build synchronized transport infrastructure along both sides of the canal, contributing to improved water flow, reduced flooding, and enhanced urban landscape. Trungnam E&C is responsible for Package XL-01, with a length of 2.94 km and a total investment of over VND 1,160 billion: the section from Nhieu Loc – Thi Nghe Canal to Bui Dinh Tuy Bridge, including Cau Son Canal (from Km0+000 to Km2+512). Dredging the canal bed, environmental improvement, and waste treatment; Construction of the drainage system and roads along both sides of Rach Xuyen Tam; Construction of embankments, technical infrastructure, and green landscaping. The project implementation period is 950 days, with a commitment to ensuring schedule – quality – safety – efficiency.
