On the morning of July 10, 2026, the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Upgrading and Expansion Project of Provincial Road DT 769 and Provincial Road DT 773 was held in Dong Nai City. These are two key transportation infrastructure projects of strategic importance in completing the regional connectivity network for the Southeast region, especially serving the upcoming operation of Long Thanh International Airport

Upgrading and Expansion Project of Provincial Road DT 773
DT 773 is a vital transport arterial in Dong Nai City, playing a key role in connecting industrial and urban development zones with the national transport network and future ring roads.
According to the master plan, the entire DT 773 alignment spans approximately 39 km, starting at the intersection with National Route 1 and terminating at Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4. The alignment traverses through Xuan Hoa, Xuan Loc, Xuan Phu, Xuan Dong, Cam My, and Xuan Duong communes/wards.
The project is designed with a scale of 6 to 8 traffic lanes and a design speed of 80 km/h, representing a total investment of over VND 4,300 billion.
Upon completion, the DT 773 route will contribute to:
-
Strengthening the connection between National Route 1 and HCMC Ring Road 4.
-
Enhancing freight and passenger transport capacity for the eastern region of Dong Nai Province.
-
Progressively completing the transport network in accordance with the master plan.
-
Alleviating traffic congestion on existing routes.
-
Promoting the development of industrial zones, urban centers, and logistics services.
This is considered a vital backbone corridor that helps establish an inter-regional connectivity network as the Southeast region enters a phase of rapid industrial, urban, and logistical expansion.

Upgrading and Expansion Project of Provincial Road DT 769
In addition to DT 773, the upgrading and expansion project for DT 769 is recognized as playing an exceptionally crucial role in directly connecting Long Thanh International Airport with the existing transportation network.
The alignment spans approximately 29 km, originating at the Dau Giay Intersection and ending at the Loc An Intersection, directly linking National Route 1, National Route 51, and Long Thanh Airport.
The total investment capital for the project is approximately VND 2,800 billion.
The expansion of DT 769 will help:
-
Establish a direct gateway route connecting to Long Thanh Airport.
-
Improve traffic capacity between the northern districts of Dong Nai and the airport.
-
Relieve traffic pressure on existing roadway networks.
-
Create favorable conditions for the growth of logistics systems, services, and industrial zones.
-
Enhance inter-provincial connectivity between Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, and other provinces in the Southern Key Economic Zone.
When Long Thanh International Airport officially commences operations, DT 769 will serve as a primary gateway artery accommodating passenger and freight transportation demands while driving regional economic growth.

Contributing to the Strategic Infrastructure Network Completion
The implementation of DT 769 and DT 773 comes at a time when Dong Nai is heavily prioritizing transport infrastructure investments to unlock new growth momentum.
Beyond their role as intra-provincial arteries, both projects contribute to connecting major national transport infrastructure projects, including Long Thanh International Airport, National Route 1, National Route 51, and HCMC Ring Road 4.
The completion of these routes will establish a synchronized transport network, shortening travel times, maximizing infrastructure operational efficiency, enhancing goods circulation, attracting investment, and expanding the socio-economic development space for Dong Nai as well as the entire Southern Key Economic Zone.
Furthermore, this serves as a critical foundation for developing logistics hubs, industrial parks, new urban developments, and supporting services in the future.

Affirming Technical Capacity in Transport Infrastructure Construction
Over the years, Trungnam E&C has made a strong imprint through a series of key transport infrastructure projects nationwide, progressively proving its competence in bridge and road construction, urban infrastructure, and large-scale engineering works.
Being selected to participate in the construction of the DT 769 and DT 773 projects reaffirms Trungnam E&C’s capabilities in project management, construction organization, and expertise in executing high-complexity projects with stringent technical, schedule, and quality requirements.
Leveraging its role as the Lead Contractor of the Construction Consortium, Trungnam E&C will collaborate closely with the Project Management Unit (PMU/Employer), engineering consultants, and consortium partners to execute the project synchronously and efficiently, meeting all technical specification, aesthetic, site safety, and schedule requirements.
Optimized Construction Method Statement by Trungnam E&C
Fully aware of the critical role of DT 769 as an active traffic route where construction must proceed while maintaining continuous traffic flow, Trungnam E&C’s Project Steering Committee has established strict construction management solutions:
-
Phased Construction Strategy & Traffic Management: Construction work is divided into small localized work zones using a rolling/phased approach. Subgrade/earthworks on each section are completed and immediately followed by asphalt pavement laying to minimize dust generation and localized traffic congestion.
-
Safety Signage & Temporary Barricades: All earthwork excavation/filling sections, precast culvert installations, and the construction of Quan Thu Bridge are secured with rigid physical barriers, night warning signals, and dedicated traffic flaggers operating 24/7.
-
Input Material Quality Control: Raw materials including aggregate base, hot mix asphalt (HMA), and precast concrete culvert elements are rigorously tested via on-site field laboratories to comply with the Employer’s strict technical specifications.
Once completed, the DT 769 upgrading and expansion project will serve as a leverage for logistics infrastructure, creating a seamless connection between industrial parks in Thong Nhat and Long Thanh with Long Thanh International Airport and the seaport system. Utilizing extensive contracting expertise and a proactive field presence, Trungnam E&C commits to delivering the project safely, with high quality, and on schedule—contributing to transforming the transport infrastructure landscape of Dong Nai.
