The Vàm Lẽo Lock Chamber Project is currently producing structural elements, fabricating steel reinforcement, and executing full-scale mass piling for the lock body. Construction progress has reached approximately 4%, ensuring adherence to the planned schedule.
Trungnam E&C Focuses on Executing Key Work Items at the Vàm Lẽo Project
At the Vàm Lẽo Lock Chamber Project, Trungnam E&C is concentrating its resources, manpower, and equipment to execute key scheduled work items as approved. To date, the total construction progress accounts for approximately 4% of the total contract volume.
On site, multiple construction teams are simultaneously carrying out the production of reinforced concrete elements, rebar cage fabrication, materials and equipment mobilization, and mass pile driving for the lock body, laying a critical foundation for subsequent construction phases

Accelerating Mass Pile Driving for the Lock Chamber Structure
On site, a full fleet of specialized foundation equipment has been fully mobilized. Construction units are driving piles across multiple fronts concurrently to ensure project progress. All operations follow strict technical procedures under the close supervision of technical personnel, the Project Management Unit (PMU), and the Supervision Consultant.
In parallel with pile driving operations, teams of engineers and workers are stepping up rebar fabrication and precast element production to serve the upcoming reinforced concrete construction phases.

Mobilizing Resources, Guaranteeing Progress and Quality
To meet strict schedule requirements, Trungnam E&C has deployed comprehensive manpower, heavy equipment, and material resources. Integrated construction site management measures are being implemented:
-
Execution progress strictly following the master plan.
-
Workmanship quality adhering to technical specifications.
-
Occupational safety and environmental hygiene compliance.
-
Stringent quality control of input materials.
-
Risk management adapted to waterway and riverine site conditions.
Along with enhanced field coordination, all participating units are working closely to promptly resolve emerging site challenges, ensuring uninterrupted and efficient work execution across all items.

Contributing to the Completion of Regional Irrigation and Inland Waterway Infrastructure
Upon completion, the Vàm Lẽo Lock Chamber Project will enhance regional irrigation control and water resource management while supporting local inland waterway navigation. This serves as a vital infrastructure asset for local socio-economic development, agricultural production, and climate change adaptation in increasingly complex conditions.
Trungnam E&C possesses extensive experience in executing major hydraulic and infrastructure works, including the Tidal Flood Control Project (Phase 1) in Ho Chi Minh City (featuring projects like Mương Chuối Sluice Gate, Bến Nghé Sluice Gate, etc.). We commit our utmost efforts to bringing the Vàm Lẽo Project to successful completion on schedule, meeting the highest technical and aesthetic standards.
