Phuoc An Bridge’s Cable Stay No. 1 Tensioning September 4, 2025 – According to the Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province Department of Transportation and Agricultural Projects Management Board and a consortium of contractors, the first cable stay tensioning ceremony for cable stay No. 1 took place at tower T38, part of package No. 39. I. Phuoc An Bridge – Connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai Province With a total investment of nearly 4.9 trillion VND, the Phuoc An Bridge project is a key transportation infrastructure project with strategic importance for the economic development of the Southern Key Economic Region. The bridge is designed to be approximately 4.3 km long with six lanes, spanning the Thi Vai River to connect Ho Chi Minh City with Dong Nai Province. Once completed, the Phuoc An Bridge will be crucial, directly connecting the Cai Mep – Thi Vai port system, one of the largest port clusters in the country, to the Ben Luc – Long Thanh Expressway. This will significantly reduce the distance and time for freight transport, lower logistics costs, and promote the regional supply chain, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of the entire Southern region.
