Construction of the diversion dam (weir), spillway, intake structure, headrace tunnel, hydropower plant, tailrace channel, internal roads, 220kV transmission line, and 220kV substation.
The dam has 5 spillway bays, is 80m high, 800m long, with a gravity concrete structure, and a reservoir capacity of 281 million m³ at normal water level (NWL) of 680m.
Capacity is 70MW, with an average annual electricity output of 263.8 million kWh.
